Spatial Analysis Fellow in Cancer Biology
2 weeks ago
The Department of Biology at the University of Copenhagen is seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to join our team as a postdoctoral fellow in spatial analysis of the tumor microenvironment. The project aims to establish a new way of understanding tumor biology by integrating tumor physicochemical traits and transcriptomic landscapes.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in molecular biology and single cell- and/or spatial transcriptomics, as well as experience with CRISPR screens. The successful candidate will develop and perform spatial metabolomics, spatial transcriptomics and single cell sequencing of advanced 3D cocultures of human pancreatic cancer cells and associated stromal cells.
As part of this project, you will work closely with a PhD student who you will supervise and integrate these data with physicochemical parameters obtained by live imaging of pH, lactate and oxygen. You will also use these results as the basis for initiating 3D CRISPR screens.
Our Group and ResearchOur group is a highly collaborative, friendly and enthusiastic research group with broad national and international scientific networks. We offer excellent research infrastructure and technical support, as well as a strong and active postdoc organization.
The position is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic and innovative research environment and to contribute to the advancement of cancer biology.
