Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified Research Professor to join our team at the University of Copenhagen. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading research in Chemical Toxicology and Analytical Chemistry, with a focus on experimental research, publication, and academic dissemination.

The professor will become a central member in the research group "Toxicology and Drug Metabolism", working closely with clinicians to assess the toxicity of pharmaceuticals and products. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting cutting-edge research in Chemical Toxicology and Analytical Chemistry
  • Developing and organizing high-quality research-based teaching and examination within the Department's education activities
  • Supervising researchers and contributing to the scientific community through publications and presentations
  • Obligations to share knowledge with society and participate in public debate

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong background in Chemical Toxicology and Analytical Chemistry, with experience in research leadership, teaching, and collaboration with clinicians. You will also have excellent interpersonal and communicative skills, as well as the ability to document a high degree of original academic production at an international level.

Terms of Employment

This is a permanent position with 37 hours of work per week. Salary and other terms and conditions of appointment are set in accordance with the Agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and AC (Danish Confederation of Professional Associations).

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is DKK 103,156 - 150,754 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
