Procurement Specialist for Offshore Execution Equipment

We are seeking a highly motivated Procurement Specialist to join our Offshore Execution Equipment Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the proactive management of purchasing tools and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to our global offshore execution project portfolio, internal blade and nacelle factories, and our tower vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the purchasing of tools and equipment, supporting on-time supply to execution projects and service and transport equipment to offshore factories and tower vendors.
  2. Create and follow up on purchasing orders towards suppliers to ensure on-time delivery to warehouses globally.
  3. Monitor and follow up on delivery status with our global, external supplier base.
  4. Responsible for KPI fulfillment on own product/supplier portfolio.
  5. Participate in Commodity strategies implementation projects to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials.
  6. Contribute to the implementation and ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes, and systems to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance.
  7. Generate, document, and implement savings to contribute to the success of the business and make results transparent.
  8. Ensure a close cooperation with Internal Customers to ensure customer care and early involvement.
  9. Provide supplier information to the project and conduct project-specific supplier evaluations.

Requirements:

  1. We need a motivated team player, self-driven, structured with excellent communication skills and a strong sense of ownership.
  2. 1-3 years of experience within logistics, procurement, or purchasing.
  3. Experience in communication with suppliers and strong negotiation skills.
  4. Ability to plan and prioritize tasks assigned.
  5. Motivated by providing top-quality results within deadlines and happy to work in a dynamic organization and environment.
  6. Curious, with a continuous learning mindset and a desire to contribute to the organization's development.
  7. Analytical mind and extensive knowledge of O365 (especially Excel) and ERP. Our ERP is SAP S/4HANA; hence knowledge and experience in it are preferable.
  8. Thrives in a multi-cultural environment and familiar with working in large organizations.
  9. Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
