About the Role

The Commercial Manager Foods will be responsible for developing and implementing the commercial strategy and P&L for Snacks and Grains categories across several Nordic markets.

Main Accountabilities
  • Category Development: Develop annual commercial plans, align with Go-To-Market partners, and oversee execution to drive sustained growth.
  • Partner Management: Strengthen relationships with key distributors / partners to ensure seamless execution.
  • Team Leadership: Manage Jr. Commercial Manager(s), setting clear priorities and supporting career development.
  • Performance Tracking: Ensure compliance with Global Control Standards while managing budgets, forecasting sales, and tracking monthly performance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with Northern Europe category teams, leadership, and key stakeholders.
Key Qualifications
  • FMCG Experience: 7+ years in FMCG, ideally with a top branded player.
  • Nordic Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of Nordic retail, specifically Denmark.
  • Sales Leadership: Proven ability to lead successful sales teams and develop commercial talent.
  • Communication Skills: Strong presentation and communication abilities, with influence across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis: Experience with Nielsen and GfK data analysis.
  • Linguistic Skills: Fluent in English; fluency in a Danish language is preferred.
  • Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Strategic Thinking: Capable of navigating complex business challenges and driving long-term strategy.
  • Leadership Experience: Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
