About the Role

As an M&A Underwriter, you will be responsible for handling various workstreams in a fast-paced environment. Your tasks will include:

  • Analysing M&A documents, including financial statements and purchase agreements
  • Assisting with drafting insurance quotes, binders, and policies
  • Supporting senior underwriters on live M&A deals
  • Managing a consistent pipeline of M&A deal flow by updating the team with M&A deal statistics, reviewing/executing NDAs, and utilizing the team's IT/operating systems to ensure smooth administration of M&A deals
  • Engaging and communicating with insurance brokers, lawyers, and investment managers
