In this exciting position, you will assist the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store, taking ownership of various duties while ensuring the stores KPIs are achieved. You will be responsible for motivating and training a team to deliver excellent customer service, managing sales floor coverage, and analyzing store performance to drive results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and develop internal employees, promoting progression within the group and creating career plans together with the store manager.
  • Assist with store recruitment, new starter inductions, and staff training to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Ensure the store's dashboard is analyzed to achieve targets and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes where possible.
  • Supervise the sales floor, selling personally when necessary and providing adequate floor coverage at all times, considering peak and trough sales patterns.
  • Motivate and train the team to deliver exceptional customer service, handling complaints promptly and courteously according to company policy.
  • Support the team in making customers feel encouraged to return due to courteous and competent service.
  • Implement visual merchandising techniques to attract and engage customers, ensuring merchandise is correctly priced and displayed.
  • Maintain stock displays clean and presentable at all times.
Requirements
  • Retail management experience, preferably in a leading or motivating role.
  • Excellent time management skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and IT proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
