Senior IT Security Leader

Maintaining a high level of cybersecurity is essential for any organization, especially when dealing with critical software. Systematic seeks a Senior IT Security Leader to oversee our IT Security department, ensuring the highest standards of protection and compliance. This role offers the chance to collaborate with experts in the field, driving innovation and improvement in cybersecurity practices.

The Role as Senior IT Security Leader

In today's digital landscape, cybersecurity is a top priority for businesses. At Systematic, we recognize the importance of staying ahead of potential threats and are dedicated to strengthening our cybersecurity capabilities. As our new Senior IT Security Leader, you will oversee the development and maintenance of our IT security roadmap, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. You will lead a team of experts who work together to protect our systems from evolving cyber threats.

You will be responsible for:

  1. Developing and maintaining our IT security roadmap, aligning with compliance and policy standards.
  2. Designing security solutions and performing risk assessments and threat modeling.
  3. Leading a team of experts in IT security, overseeing their work and providing guidance.
  4. Collaborating with other departments to ensure security is integrated into all IT initiatives.
  5. Providing guidance and recommendations to senior leadership on emerging security threats and trends.
  6. Ensuring the implementation of effective security measures to protect our systems and data.

About You

  • You have a strong educational background in IT and multiple years of experience in IT security or similar.
  • You possess strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and CIS Controls.
  • Prior experience with the Microsoft Security suite is advantageous.
  • You are proficient in security technologies like firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, endpoint protection, SIEM, and vulnerability management.
  • You have professional proficiency in English, both verbal and written.

You should be able to adapt to the fast-paced environment of IT security, stay up-to-date with emerging threats, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Please note that due to the sensitive nature of our work with security-classified systems, you will need to provide a clean criminal record to obtain security clearance and cannot have lived outside the EU or NATO countries for the past 7 years.
