About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our Data Science Team in Hedehusene, Denmark. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing advanced Machine Learning pipelines related to GenAI, computer vision and manufacturing sensor data applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Development and Deployment: Design, develop and implement advanced Machine Learning pipelines in both cloud, on-prem and edge devices.
  • Model Monitoring and Alerting: Implement and support model monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Real-Time Processing: Implement efficient algorithms for real-time processing of sensor data.
  • Edge Computing: Deploy models on edge computing devices such as Nvidia Jetson.
  • GenAI Applications: Use Azure OpenAI, vector databases, Langchain and several other services and packages to deploy custom GenAI applications.
  • CI/CD Practices: Implement continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices to streamline model development and deployment.

Collaboration and Leadership

  • ML Ops Practices: Implement Machine Learning Ops practices to streamline the development, deployment, and maintenance of models in production.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the team in identifying areas for improvement and recommend strategies to enhance the data science function in our organization.
  • Infrastructure and Platform: Collaborate with Infrastructure & Platform team to ensure development of robust ML pipelines.
  • Data Engineers: Collaborate with Data engineers to identify data sources and develop efficient data pipeline strategies.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education: Master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in Data Science and either the manufacturing industry or with GenAI.
  • Skills: Excellent skills within Python, R, SQL, and cloud computing technologies. Hands on experience in deploying models and algorithms into production systems is desirable.
  • Tools and Frameworks: Experience with Orchestration, Containerization, DevOps & ML Ops tools and frameworks such as Docker, Kubernetes, Kubeflow, MLflow, Azure DevOps etc.
  • CLOUD COMPUTING AND MACHINE LEARNING PLATFORMS: Common Cloud & Machine Learning platforms such as Azure, Snowflake, Databricks and more.
  • INFRASTRUCTURE AS CODE SOLUTIONS: Experience with developing Infrastructure as Code solutions and using for example Bicep.
  • DEVOPS PRACTICES: In depth knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Ansible.
  • AGILE DEVELOPMENT: Familiarity with Agile development as applied to Data Science.

Earnings potential: Based on Danish salary scales, this role has an estimated annual earnings potential of approximately 1,200,000 DKK (~ $180,000 USD), plus benefits, depending on qualifications and location.
