We are excited to announce a Postdoctoral Researcher position in the Centre for Gelatinous Plankton Ecology & Evolution at DTU. The successful candidate will contribute to advancing our understanding of climate change impacts on marine ecosystems.
The role involves applying and developing image and hydroacoustic equipment to assess plankton communities, collecting new data, analyzing existing data, and publishing findings in scientific journals.
You will work with our experienced team to develop novel solutions to tackle the challenges of quantitatively catching and analyzing gelatinous organisms.
Your Key Responsibilities- Apply and develop image and hydroacoustic technology to assess plankton life across different ecosystems.
- Analyze data to understand climate change impacts on food webs, with a focus on plankton communities.
- Publish generated data and results in the form of database entries and scientific publications.
We require a highly motivated individual with a strong background in biological oceanography and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
