We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Administrator to join our team at Conscia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, network management, and IT security, with experience in maintaining and supporting complex IT infrastructures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our servers, networks, and critical systems, working closely with our IT team to support end-users, implement IT projects, and maintain a reliable IT environment.

This role involves:

  • System Administration: Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows/Linux servers and related infrastructure, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing system resources.
  • Network Management: Supporting local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), Wireless networks, and VPN connections, assisting in the configuration and management of network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls, monitoring network performance, and ensuring network security.
  • Security Management: Implementing and maintaining IT security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and access controls, monitoring security logs, and responding to security incidents, regularly monitoring system backups, and ensuring data integrity.
  • User Support: Providing technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing user accounts, permissions, and access in Active Directory and other systems, and assisting with onboarding new employees by setting up workstations, accounts, and software.
  • System Monitoring and Maintenance: Performing routine system checks and maintenance tasks, ensuring systems are regularly backed up, and data recovery processes are in place.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in system administration, network management, or related IT roles.
  • Experience with Windows/Linux servers, network management, and IT security practices.
