Job Title: Key Account Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our team at Skelmose ApS. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new potential projects and clients and developing new projects in the segment of steel constructions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate RFQs and prepare calculations to ensure accurate quotes and negotiations
  • Develop and mature projects with clients, including collection of prices for subcontractor deliveries and surface treatment
  • Correspond with clients, prepare quotations, and confirm orders
  • Update the VL Staal quotation and CRM system to ensure seamless project management
  • Negotiate contracts and review project details to ensure successful project delivery
  • Develop new competences and products in the segment of steel constructions to drive business growth
  • Handover sold projects to dedicated project managers to ensure smooth project completion
  • Prepare sales action plans and budgets for sales activities in coordination with the sales manager
Requirements:
  • Experience from project sales organizations within the energy sector or similar
  • Background as a mechanical engineer, machine engineer, or another relevant technical education
  • Professional-level English language skills, with German being a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Outgoing personality with excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills
  • Structured and goal-oriented, self-motivating, and able to work independently
