Experimentalist for Resource-Efficient Programmable Photonics

We are looking for an experimentalist to work on a project focused on developing resource-efficient programmable photonic circuits using thin-film lithium niobate (TFLN) and tantalate (TFLT). Our approach involves cavity-based components with electrically controllable cavity-waveguide couplings that surpass the time-bandwidth limit of static cavities.

**Project Overview**

The project is funded by The Novo Nordisk Foundation and anchored at DTU Electro in the Quantum and Nanophotonics Section. We collaborate with Harvard University, where TFLN devices will be fabricated at DTU and TFLT at Harvard.

**Requirements**

You should have practical experience with fabrication of optical nano- and micro-structures such as PICs, and theoretical understanding of photonic integrated circuits. Experience with numerical modeling and Python programming is also desired.
