At DTU Electro, you will pioneer advancements in the field of silicon carbide optoelectronics. This Postdoc position is situated within the wide bandgap semiconductor photonics group, under the leadership of Associate Professor Haiyan Ou. Silicon carbide (SiC) is rapidly emerging as a pivotal material platform for optoelectronics due to its exceptional optical and electrical properties. As pioneers in this burgeoning field, we eagerly anticipate collaborating with you to further advance this captivating domain.

Key responsibilities include designing and optimizing antireflection layers for SiC, developing low series resistance and high-efficiency SiC laser power converters, and exploring the high-power density limit in SiC laser power converters. You will interact actively with other group members and European partners to achieve novel ultra-efficient SiC-laser power converters.
