Key Responsibilities

As a member of the Cloud Empowerment (CE) team, the Cloud Solutions Architect will play a pivotal role in developing essential cloud functionalities required to provide a secure and cost-effective cloud environment for our developers. Responsibilities include the creation and maintenance of cloud landing zones, core accounts, infrastructure-as-code, and policy-as-code across both AWS and Azure platforms, as well as the API integration layer.

  • Enhance security and compliance measures within the cloud infrastructure.
  • Participate in the DevOps operating model, ensuring quality standards, implementing test-driven development, and promoting cloud cost governance and awareness.
  • Respond to support requests or incidents during business hours, collaborating with the team to establish proactive measures and automation solutions.
Contribute to Team Success

This team serves as a foundational unit for the LEGO Group, providing critical capabilities that facilitate the entire organization’s cloud adoption. We support numerous LEGO engineers, ensuring they have access to the latest cloud technologies in a secure, compliant, and efficient manner. Additionally, we are responsible for integrating our services with the internal Developer Portal, offering product teams an innovative self-service DevOps experience.

The team operates from a modern workspace that fosters creativity, inspiration, and flexibility.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess several years of experience in serverless development within Azure and/or AWS (including functions, serviceBus, lambdas, eventBridge), along with expertise in Azure Policies and Landing Zones. A solid understanding of event-driven microservice architecture and experience in building, deploying, and managing APIs is expected.

Proficiency in Python, adhering to clean-code principles, and experience with Terraform, as well as Frontend/fullstack development using React, CSS, and NodeJS, is highly desirable. Familiarity with agile methodologies is encouraged.

To excel in this position, candidates should ideally have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Github, GitLab, or ADO.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as Cosmos and/or DynamoDB.
  • A growth mindset and a commitment to professional development.
  • A DevOps philosophy - "You build it. You run it".

Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential as we operate within an international team.
