Job DescriptionSalary

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of €80,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as health insurance, pension, and flexible work arrangements.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Comprehensive Organic Growth Strategies: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive organic growth strategies to increase our online visibility and market share across all our markets.
  • Lead and Grow Team: Lead and grow a small team of SEO specialists, fostering their development and expanding the team as needed.
  • Coordinate Across Departments: Work closely with Paid Performance, Marketing, and Tech departments to ensure alignment and collaboration on organic growth initiatives.
  • Enhance Local SEO: Evolve our current local SEO approach to a more outspoken strategy that drives relevance with our customers across all local markets.
  • Oversee SEO Initiatives: Lead SEO initiatives, including on-page and off-page optimization, technical SEO, and expanded local SEO strategies.
  • Collaborate on Content: Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure SEO alignment in content creation and digital marketing efforts.
  • Analyze Performance: Analyze website performance, user behavior, and market trends to inform strategy and tactics.
  • Optimize Website: Work with the Tech department to implement SEO best practices and optimize website performance.
  • Report and Track KPIs: Set KPIs and report on organic performance metrics to senior management.
  • Optimize Online Presence: Enhance our online presence for both DIY customers and those seeking professional services.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in SEO or organic growth roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
  • Proven track record of improving organic search rankings and driving traffic growth for e-commerce and home improvement.
  • Demonstrated success in taking a company to a market-leading position through organic growth strategies.
  • Deep understanding of SEO best practices, Google algorithms, and search console tools.
  • Experience in evolving local SEO strategies to broader, more impactful approaches.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in using data to drive decision-making.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar platforms.
  • Hands-on mentality and willingness to personally execute strategies alongside the team.
  • Fluency in English and at least one Scandinavian language (Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian).
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies across multiple markets, with a focus on Scandinavian countries.
