Job Summary:
The Global Process Owner will be responsible for leading and optimizing the end-to-end quality, compliance, and claims processes across the organization. This role will drive process excellence, efficiency, and compliance while ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Main Responsibilities:Process Ownership:- Own and manage the entire quality, compliance, and claims process, from quality control to customer dispute resolution.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including flowcharts, procedures, and policies.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality, reduce costs, and minimize customer dissatisfaction.
- Establish and implement quality standards and metrics to ensure product or service quality.
- Conduct quality audits and inspections to identify and address non-conformances.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans to address quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and internal policies, including and not limited to dual use, sanctions, and embargoes, certification (IHM, MD, etc.).
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address compliance risks.
- Develop and implement compliance training programs for employees.
- Bachelor's degree in quality management, engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in quality management, compliance, and claims handling.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and tools (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma).
- Proven ability to lead process improvement initiatives and drive change.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Experience from marine, heavy, or machine industry preferred.
- Hands-on experience on material testing or testing supervision required (steel, casting, forgings).
- Hands-on experience with pressure testing required (flexible hoses and pressure vessels).
- Knowledge of industrial codes (i.e., AD2000) incl. maritime rules in terms of testing standards.
- ISO 14000, 18000, 28000, 45000 will be an advantage for this position.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or a similar process improvement methodology.
- Experience in a multinational corporation.
