About the Job

We are seeking highly motivated postdoctoral researchers to join our team in the Choudhary group. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects in proteomics, genomics, and cell signaling, utilizing cutting-edge techniques such as CRISPR-based genome editing and next-generation sequencing.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in molecular biology, bioinformatics, or a related field, with excellent scientific productivity, evidenced by high-quality research publications. They should be able to conduct independent and creative research, and show good interpersonal and communication skills.

**Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute experiments using CRISPR-based genome editing and next-generation sequencing.
  • Analyze large-scale datasets generated from mass spectrometry and NGS-based approaches.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop new research projects and ideas.

**Qualifications:

  • PhD or MD level of education corresponding to the Danish PhD degree in natural or medical science.
  • Excellent scientific track record, including at least one publication in a high-quality, peer-reviewed international journal.
  • Expert knowledge in one or more of the following areas: epigenetics, gene transcription regulation, quantitative mass spectrometry, bioinformatic analysis, computer programming languages, molecular biology techniques.

  • Funding for the position comes from a newly funded ERC advanced grant.
  • The employment is full-time, with a possibility of extension depending on performance.
  • The salary is approximately 34,622 DKK (around 4,656 €) per month, plus pension contribution.
