Job Description

The University of Copenhagen is seeking a highly qualified Research Scientist to fill the position of Postdoc in Ecological Modelling.

Role and Responsibilities

This position is based on the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff and follows the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.

Terms of Appointment and Payment

The terms of appointment and payment will follow the aforementioned agreement.

Requirements
  • A PhD degree or equivalent academic qualifications, preferably within ecological modelling or a related field
  • Excellent research skills and experience with ecological modelling
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Benefits

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary, including pension scheme, health insurance, and travel opportunities.

Estimated Salary:

We estimate the annual salary for this position to be around DKK 550,000-600,000, depending on qualifications and seniority. In addition to the salary, the university provides an extensive benefits package including 17 weeks' paid parental leave, flexible working hours, and more.
