Job Summary

We are seeking an Expert in Forensic and Population Genetics Research to join our team at the University of Copenhagen.

About the Role

The position is a permanent, full-time appointment with 37 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic research environment, contributing to ongoing projects in forensic and population genetics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in forensic and population genetics, focusing on data analysis and interpretation.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in relevant statistical methods and software.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement research projects.
Requirements
  • A PhD degree in a relevant field (genetics, statistics, or related area).
  • Proven experience in forensic and population genetics research, including data analysis and interpretation.
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary: DKK 530,000 - DKK 630,000 (approximate annual salary based on national collective bargaining model), depending on experience.
