We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to join our team at Novo Nordisk A/S - Nn1. As a Medical Director for Rare Blood Disorders, you will play a key role in driving the clinical development strategy for our clinical-stage asset for patients with Sickle Cell Disease or Thalassemia.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement clinical trials, providing medical oversight and interpreting results to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute clinical development programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, treating physicians, and therapeutic experts worldwide.
- Mentor and train junior colleagues to ensure knowledge sharing and succession planning.
- Travel approximately 15-20 days per year to support business needs.
- Medical Doctor degree, preferably with a PhD in Haematology or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in clinical drug development, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
- Proficiency in English.
