About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our Department of Functional and Cellular Pharmacology at Lundbeck. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in advancing our molecules towards clinical development and beyond.

As a Research Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing in vitro/ex vivo cellular assays, generating pharmacology data, validating targets, and understanding the mode-of-action of our molecules. You will also take a proactive role in how we work with complex data and organize our data within our department and across research.

You will be joining a highly collaborative and trustful environment, working alongside 16 skilled scientists, technicians, and students who value a fun and informal atmosphere. Together, we leverage every individual's knowledge to obtain the best results, while maintaining a strong focus on generating data and insights necessary for advancing both early- and late-stage drug discovery projects.

We work in a matrix set-up, supporting all our four dedicated biology areas with in vitro/ex vivo data: Synapse Biology and Neuronal Circuits, Hormonal and Neuropeptide Signaling, Protein aggregation, folding, and clearance, and Neuroinflammation and Neuroimmunology.
