About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pharmacology Research Scientist to join our Brain Health Division at Lundbeck. As a key member of our research team, you will play a critical role in advancing our understanding of brain health and developing innovative treatments for neurological disorders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute in vitro and ex vivo cellular assays to study the mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases
- Analyze complex data using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to identify patterns and trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new research strategies and protocols
- Present research findings and results to senior management and external stakeholders
Requirements
- PhD in Neuroscience or related field, with significant postdoctoral experience in pharmacology and neuroscience research
- Extensive knowledge of in vitro and ex vivo cellular assay development, including imaging and high-content image analysis
- Strong programming skills in R or Python, with experience in data science and machine learning
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex research findings to diverse audiences
