Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Research Scientist to join our team at Københavns Universitet. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular physiology, human experimentation, and cell culture and experimentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research on the molecular regulation of metabolism and vascular function, with a focus on mitochondrial peptides.
  • Design and execute experiments using human subjects, mice, and cellular models.
  • Analyze data and publish research findings in top-tier scientific journals.
  • Collaborate with other researchers and clinicians to advance our understanding of cardiovascular disease.
Requirements:
  • PhD in a relevant field (e.g., biomedical sciences, physiology, pharmacology).
  • Strong background in cardiovascular physiology, human experimentation, and cell culture and experimentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
