Position Overview
Parsons Corporation is seeking a skilled CBTC Testing and Integration Lead to enhance our Railway division. In this capacity, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the technical transition of Communication Based Train Control systems from GoA2 to GoA4.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate strategies for testing, migration, verification and validation, and commissioning.
- Assist DSB in overseeing the relevant contractual obligations with the CBTC supplier.
- Supervise the CBTC supplier throughout the project lifecycle: including document evaluations, acceptance processes, and monitoring of testing activities both in the factory and field.
- Track progress, identify issues, and manage risks effectively.
- Establish a compliance matrix that aligns DSB requirements with supplier specifications and testing protocols.
Essential Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in European rail systems, specifically ERTMS/CBTC, from either the supplier or operator perspective.
- Proven experience in managing migration projects in brownfield environments.
- Familiarity with driverless signaling technologies.
