We are seeking an experienced Simulation Specialist to join our team at Ramboll Group. As a Simulation Specialist, you will be responsible for constructing simulation models using FlexSim software, preparing input data, and analyzing the output from the models. You will also be tasked with carrying out the validation and verification of models, ensuring their accuracy by collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant education in simulation and programming, with several years of experience working with building simulation models, including coding in C++. Proficiency in English is required, and experience within logistics is preferred but not necessary.

You will be part of our global team of 15 colleagues working out of various locations in the Nordics. We have extensive experience in logistics and automation for hospitals but are also involved in projects for clients in other sectors such as food, pharma, and industry more broadly.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Development of simulation models, building simulation models to assess complex systems.
  • Programming input to the simulation model (C, C++).
  • Collaboration with colleagues in Logistics & Automation locally and globally.
  • Capability of process-understanding and translating process and flows into models.
