At Folkekirkens Nødhjælp, we are seeking a highly skilled MEAL Coordinator to drive accountability and learning in our development programs.
Job SummaryThe MEAL Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring that our programs are effective, transparent, and accountable. This position will oversee the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems, lead capacity-building initiatives for staff and partners, and facilitate knowledge sharing across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Developing M&E Systems: Design and implement comprehensive M&E frameworks that support our strategic objectives; ensure consistency and alignment with organizational priorities.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Oversee the design and execution of M&E plans for all projects; develop and refine M&E tools and methodologies to effectively measure program impact and outcomes.
- Accountability: Serve as an Accountability focal point, ensuring that feedback and learning are integrated into program design and implementation.
- Culture of Learning: Facilitate a culture of learning and knowledge sharing within the organization, supporting the integration of lessons learned into program design and implementation.
- Capacity Building: Provide technical support and capacity building for staff and partners in M&E processes and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences, development studies, statistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a MEAL role within the development sector.
- Strong understanding of M&E methodologies, systems, tools, and best practices.
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating MEAL processes and systems across multiple projects or programs.
- Excellent communication, report-writing, and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits.
