Depositary Manager for Regulatory Excellence

We are currently expanding our Depositary Services team in Copenhagen, and we are seeking a highly skilled Depositary Manager to join us. As a Depositary Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our depositary control duties are exercised with excellence, regulatory analysis is conducted thoroughly, and risk assessments are performed effectively.
The ideal candidate will have a broad range of responsibilities, including:
- Ensuring Timely Completion of Depositary Control Plan: You will work closely with our teams to ensure that our depositary control plan is brought to completion on time and with excellence.
- Accurate Documentation of Analysis and Findings: Your analysis, investigations, and findings will be accurately documented to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Fund Cycle Management: You will execute activities related to fund cycle management in a timely and compliant manner.
- Due Diligence of Fund Managers: You will perform due diligence on fund managers to ensure their capabilities align with our regulatory requirements.
- Client Meetings: You will participate in client meetings to provide expert advice and support.
- Regulatory Updates: You will stay up-to-date with the latest AIFMD, UCITS, and related regulations to ensure compliance.
- Governance Model Enforcement: You will help enforce our strong governance model to maintain high standards of quality and operational excellence.
- Project Development: You will drive projects related to continuous development of quality and operational excellence.
- Stakeholder Requests: You will ensure that we meet the requests of our internal stakeholders, including Audit, Compliance, and Risk.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Maintain an excellent overview with great structure and time management skills.
- Enjoy and master multitasking while having great analytical ability to deep dive, investigate, and conduct research.
- Have a passion for working in the sphere of finance and regulation.
- Be a team player who ensures the team meets its regulatory duties.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Master's degree in economics, finance, business management, or business law.
- Experience from compliance, risk management functions, or the fund industry would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of financial markets and financial instruments.
- Interest or knowledge of financial regulation UCITS V, AIFMD, etc.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Fluent in Danish and English.
- Experienced user of Excel and SharePoint.
