About the Position

Solar A/S is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Category Sourcing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sourcing department, you will be responsible for executing the sourcing strategy within the Electrical and Cable categories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the trader representing and supporting supplier negotiations to obtain the best agreements and purchasing terms and conditions for Solar.
  • Support the development of sourcing as a discipline within the entire category.
  • Manage and maintain supplier information in our procurement software.
  • Challenging lead times, payment terms, minimum order quantities, and other key performance indicators.
  • Vendor scouting, tenders, and cross-stocking.
Requirements
  • Solid experience within the field of supply chain and sourcing.
  • Product Management and/or Category Management experience within the Cable area is a plus.
  • Affinity with technical products and willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Experience with tactical strategic purchasing processes.
  • Experience working within an international and cross-functional team.
