Market Access Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Access Manager to join our team in the Nordics. As a key member of our Market Access team, you will play a critical role in securing successful patient access and reimbursement for our products in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement payer engagement strategies to secure optimal product positioning and reimbursement.
  • Lead negotiations with key decision-makers, national/regional buying groups, and health authorities to ensure successful product listings and reimbursement settings.
  • Manage processes for new product entries, including negotiations with health authorities and ensuring successful product listings and reimbursement settings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on global strategies and support local implementation.
  • Develop and execute payer engagement plans tailored to the healthcare system, focusing on securing optimal product positioning and reimbursement.
  • Map and meet with relevant stakeholders, including decision-makers, payers, and politicians, in the Nordics.
  • Participate in networks and independently build relations to promote our products.
  • Facilitate the inclusion of new products in guidelines and manage submissions to secure funding.
  • Localise payer value propositions to align with the market's specific needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive local reimbursement activities, including evidence-based negotiations for product listings.
  • Develop local value-related product messaging to resonate with stakeholders and align with market access strategies.
  • Monitor and assess regulatory and policy changes, analysing potential impacts on market access strategies and adjusting plans accordingly.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on navigating the market access environment, including local regulations, reimbursement mechanisms, and negotiation techniques.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of demonstrated success in pharmaceutical national/regional market access, ideally within secondary care paediatric specialty care, oncology, or rare diseases.
  • Extensive experience in launching new products in a secondary care environment and a deep understanding of the healthcare system in the Nordics.
  • Degree in Healthcare, Life Sciences, or Economics.
  • Advanced degree or specific Market Access qualification is preferred.
  • Skills and experience of working with health economy, epidemiology, and statistics is a plus.
  • Work-based experience from the Nordic healthcare system is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and native Swedish or Danish.
