About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Access Director to join our team at Novo Nordisk A/S - Nn1. As a key member of our External Affairs department, you will play a critical role in driving the planning and execution of market access strategy, payer engagement, and HTA submissions in the North West Europe region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Market Access Strategies: Collaborate with regional and affiliate colleagues to drive the development of market access strategy and tactics supporting engagements with payers and related stakeholders across the region.
  • Lead HTA Submissions and Payer Negotiations: Secure the best possible access for products across the portfolio, and ensure diabetes and obesity are prioritized by payers and health systems.
  • Co-Develop Price Business Cases: Work with affiliate colleagues to develop price business cases and present recommendations for internal approval processes.
  • Provide Strategic Sparring and Support: Stay in close contact with affiliate market access colleagues and provide strategic sparring and support in the implementation of market access activities.
  • Drive Launch Preparation Activities: Collaborate with global, IO, and affiliate colleagues to drive launch preparation activities from the market access perspective.
  • Develop and Inspire Affiliate Access Colleagues: Implement best practice sharing, workshops, and skills trainings to develop and inspire affiliate access colleagues.
  • Monitor Payer and HTA Landscape Developments: Use insights to influence global and regional access strategies, evidence development, and launch planning.
  • Lead Pricing Life-Cycle Management Strategies: Develop and implement pricing life-cycle management strategies for mature brands, including generic/biosimilar insights.
  • Support Affiliate and Regional Office Colleagues: Provide analytics and recommendations in key business processes, including AB/RE and LTF.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 Years' Experience: In pharmaceutical market access from a regional, affiliate, or global role.
  • Previous Experience with HTA Submissions and Payer Negotiations: Ability to work collaboratively on project execution with a variety of internal and external stakeholders across different geographies.
  • Strong Project Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to translate payer insights and clinical and economic evidence into payer value arguments, engagement strategy, and payer tactics.
  • Fluent in Written and Spoken English: Master's degree in a relevant field, such as health economics, public health, science, or pharmacy.
  • Experience with Payer Engagements and Submissions: An advantage in markets covered by the North West Europe region.
