At Whistleblower Software, we are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Strategist to join our finance team in Copenhagen. As a key member of our organization, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our financial processes and help shape our company's future.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to take on a challenging role and contribute to the growth and success of our company. As Chief Financial Strategist, you will be responsible for owning the month-end closing and reporting, working with external finance consultants to improve and optimize our current setup around bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, and management reporting, managing our billing and collections process from end to end to improve our cash collection cycle, consistently automating manual day-to-day finance tasks, liaising with auditors and third-party advisors to deliver tax returns, global tax compliance, and complete our annual reports, and running special projects such as opening local subsidiaries, automating processes, and more.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field, proven experience in billing, payments, and accounts receivables management, preferably with experience in bookkeeping/accounting, strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management, excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbally, problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve customer issues in a timely manner, familiarity with tools similar to our tech stack (E-conomics, HubSpot, ChargeBee) is a plus, a growth mindset, eagerness to learn, and strong curiosity with a detail-oriented approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
