Job Opportunity at the University of Copenhagen

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified PhD researcher to join our team at the University of Copenhagen. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on an independent research project under the supervision of our experienced faculty members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct original research in plant ecology, with a focus on climate change
  • Develop and implement experiment design and data analysis using R/Matlab/Python
  • Participate in active research environments, including a stay at another research institution, preferably abroad
  • Teach and disseminate knowledge to students and the broader community
  • Write and publish scientific papers in high-impact journals
  • Defend a PhD thesis based on the research project
Requirements:
  • Professional qualifications relevant to the PhD project
  • Relevant publications, if any
  • Relevant work experience
  • Other relevant professional activities
  • Strong interest in plant sciences and/or climate change
  • Basic skills in R/Matlab/Python for data analysis
  • Good written and oral English skills
