**Job Title:** HSSE Manager

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced HSSE Manager to join our team at Maersk. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting site management in delivering industry-leading health, safety, environmental, and security performance.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage all HSE and Security matters in Lin Gang Area, especially for Flagship Warehouse, in accordance with Maersk standards, customer requirements, and relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the development and implementation of all HSSE policies and procedures within responsible warehouses for Lin Gang area.
  • Lead the team to support site management and frontline teams to identify HSE hazards in their workplace and select controls to eliminate and reduce these.
  • Support site management in determining the root causes of incidents and eliminating these.
  • Facilitate HSSE legal compliance by identifying applicable legal requirements and advising site management on ways to achieve compliance.
  • Lead the team to regularly inspect working practices and factors affecting worker health.
  • Advise site management on planning and organization of work, including design of workplaces, operational activities, and ergonomic risks.
  • Support site management in measures to support occupational health improvements.
  • Supervise the team to monitor the performance of the site security team or vendors, e.g., guards.
  • Develop and deliver HSE and security-related trainings to increase awareness.
  • Ensure security and safety infrastructures are well maintained and performing as intended.
  • Lead the team to coordinate and assure implementation of emergency response capabilities (first aid, fire, and evacuation).
  • Act as the contact person to external HSSE consultants where needed for highly specialized risk control.
  • Create site-specific HSSE reports on a monthly basis.
  • Develop HSE and security documentation based on Maersk global HSSE standards, customer requirements, and industry standards.
  • Manage the team to ensure delivery of objectives as a whole.
  • Conduct HSSE risk assessments and ensure corrective and preventive measures are undertaken.
  • Support in preparation of and management of crisis/incidents/emergencies.
  • Support in customer and/or regulatory audits.
  • Develop a safety culture in employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Live, communicate, inspire, and promote Maersk Mission, Vision, Values, and Core Culture.
