Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Biomedical Laboratory Scientist to join our team at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research. As a key member of our platform, you will be responsible for providing high-quality laboratory services, including transcriptomics and epigenetic techniques, to support researchers in their projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education as a biomedical laboratory scientist with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in laboratory work, including molecular biology techniques.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in next-generation sequencing techniques, including RNA/DNA bulk library preparation, such as RNASeq, small RNASeq, RRBS, and ATACSeq.
  • Familiarity with Illumina sequencers, such as the NextSeq500, and NovaSeq6000.
  • Experience with liquid handling robots, like Sciclone IQ and JANUS.
  • Excellent documentation skills and proficiency in written and oral communication in English.
  • Positive attitude, proactive approach, and excellent collaboration skills.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is approximately $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
