The University of Copenhagen seeks an outstanding Economist in Sustainable Development and Climate Change. Located in the heart of Copenhagen, one of Europe's leading economics departments offers a unique opportunity for research and teaching.

Job Summary:
  • Conduct world-class research in Environmental and Climate Economics
  • Teach and supervise undergraduate and post-graduate students
  • Share knowledge with society through various channels

The successful candidate will contribute to advancing the research and teaching environment at the University of Copenhagen. A permanent full-time position is available from May 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter.

We offer a highly competitive salary of approximately DKK 595,000 per annum (before taxes) based on a monthly salary of around DKK 49,583. This includes a 17.1% contribution to the pension scheme. Salary supplements may be negotiated annually.
