Researcher Position in EU Law and Climate Change Policy

At Københavns Universitet (KU), we are seeking a highly motivated researcher to join our team at the Center for Climate Change Law and Governance (CLIMA).
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be part of the H2Ignite research project, which aims to provide a way forward for regional innovation ecosystems for green hydrogen in the North Sea Region.
About the Project:
H2Ignite is a collaborative effort between various institutions in the EU, focusing on addressing the challenges facing green hydrogen innovation capacity. The project seeks to identify legal and policy gaps across the North Sea Region and propose ways to address them.
Your Role:
As a researcher in EU Law and Climate Change Policy, you will contribute to the development of new research ideas that can have an international impact. Your tasks will include shedding light on opportunities and challenges in existing legal frameworks and policies related to green hydrogen in the EU and national jurisdictions.
Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate with a strong interest in energy and climate change and EU Law. You must hold a relevant academic degree (in law or another social science discipline) and possess the appropriate theoretical and methodological tools to carry out the research. Your ability to work collaboratively as part of a team is crucial.
Salary and Benefits:
The position includes a salary range estimated to be around DKK 52,000 - DKK 62,000 per month (approximately €7,000 - €8,300), depending on qualifications and experience. In addition, you will receive an annual supplement and a total contribution to your pension fund equal to 17.1% of your salary.
Benefits:
You will also receive a yearly research allowance of DKK 25,000 to cover work-related expenses such as books, conference fees, research stays, and other activities supporting your professional growth.
