Postdoctoral Researcher in Environmental Analytical Chemistry

GEUS is seeking a highly skilled postdoctoral researcher to join our team working on environmental contaminants in groundwater. The successful candidate will be part of a new research project focused on elucidating the origins of LM3, LM5, and LM6 in Danish groundwater.
The postdoctoral researcher will work closely with the project team at GEUS and international partners to investigate the transformation pathways of these compounds using a combination of laboratory studies, field sampling, and statistical analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental chemistry, laboratory experience, and expertise in analytical techniques such as LC-MS/MS and GC-MS.
Responsibilities- Design and conduct laboratory experiments to study the fate of environmental pollutants in water and soil
- Analyze and interpret data from field samples and laboratory experiments
- Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement research strategies
- Communicate research findings through publications and presentations
- PhD in Environmental Chemistry or a related field
- Experience in laboratory settings and analytical techniques
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
