About the Position

Solar A/S is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Category Sourcing Manager to join our team. As a Category Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for executing the sourcing strategy within the Electrical and Cable categories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings and improve supplier relationships
  • Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers, including negotiating contracts and agreements
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Develop and maintain category plans, including budgeting and forecasting
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing or procurement
  • Proven track record of achieving cost savings and improving supplier relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
