Shift Operator

We are seeking a skilled Shift Operator to join our team at OljOla Shipping and Terminals. The successful candidate will have experience in terminal operations, with a strong understanding of cargo handling and storage procedures.

The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing responsibilities in a shift-based setting. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with colleagues and external stakeholders.

As a Shift Operator, you will play a key role in maintaining the terminal's safety and operational efficiency. This will involve supervising daily activities, performing routine maintenance tasks, and collaborating with other team members to achieve common goals.

You will work closely with the Terminal Operators' pool to lead and support day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless cargo handling and storage processes. Your ability to multitask, adapt to changing situations, and demonstrate flexibility will be essential in this role.

In addition to your primary duties, you may also be required to support the shipping section during periods of low terminal workload or when rapid response is needed. This could involve participating in repairs, administrative tasks, or assisting with crew changes.

To succeed in this position, you should possess a passion for work, enjoy an environment where no two days are the same, and be comfortable working outside normal hours as required. You must also be flexible and able to redirect your attention when necessary.

Your qualifications and experience will play a crucial role in your success as a Shift Operator. While a marine background or relevant experience is preferred, we welcome applications from individuals with a willingness to learn and grow. Previous experience as a terminal operator, seagoing personnel, or cargo surveyor will be given priority.

Salary: Estimated annual salary ranges between DKK 520,000 and DKK 700,000 (approximately USD 76,000 - USD 105,000) depending on experience and qualifications.
