Terminal Operator

Perhaps you have gained technical skills over the years and like to work with engineering, maintenance, and repairs, or you might prefer to focus on how to build and maintain a robust safety- and quality system, or even a skilled electrician that is looking into a new job opportunity. We are looking for new personnel to strengthen our terminal operators’ team.

How does it work

We are looking for motivated employees that enjoy the possibility to mix administrative- and hands-on work. We are strengthening our Terminal Operator’s pool with the idea that each member may contribute with his or her strength. You would share daily tasks and operational responsibilities but be using your previously gained experience to strengthen the different legs of our operation.

More about the role

Together with the Terminal Operator’s pool, you are to lead and support the day-to-day operation, to safely perform cargo handling and storage operations and to supervise the terminal technical- and safety condition. You will work in shift with shared responsibility to alter between shift leader and shift operator. At times, you will be working in a team, while at other times on your own.

Not only terminal duties

Besides managing the terminal, we also operate a fleet of highly modern bunker tankers. During times when the terminal workload is low, or in the event of rapid response, you will be allocated to support the shipping section. This could involve supporting with any immediate repairs, performing administrative duties, or assisting with crew changes.

Your profile

You should be passionate about work and enjoy an environment where a lot happens. Although part of a shift with structured work processes, one day is not the same as the other. You should be flexible to work outside normal working hours as this is expected. Things may change without a moment's notice, and you should not be easily stressed and flexible to redirect your attention.

Your qualifications and experience

While we prefer applicants with a marine background or a background relating to any of the aforementioned areas, we welcome other applications as we believe that passion and willingness to learn new things is equally important to experience. Previous experience as a terminal operator, seagoing personnel (whether deck or engine), or as a cargo surveyor will be prioritized.

You will be surrounded by experienced team members that are willing to build new strengths in you. You need to be able to express yourself freely in speech and writing in English and one Scandinavian language and should have at least completed high school.

We operate a highly modern fleet of bunker tankers with the mission to become a leading bunker- and terminal operator. Our mindset on operational efficiency, technical innovations, as well as safety and sustainability is reflected in our performance.

Since 2020, we have been established in the Port of Frederikshavn, Denmark. Through our local branch office, we have supported the supervision of the oil terminal construction process and now enter the next phase of strengthening the operation of the terminal. The position is based in Frederikshavn and is full-time as a shift operator.

We apply a six-month probationary employment. The employment is covered by insurance and occupational pensions, in accordance with standard practice.
