Job Title: Postdoctoral Researcher in Physical Activity Behaviour Change

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced postdoctoral researcher to join our team at the Department of Sports Science and Clinical Biomechanics, University of Southern Denmark. The successful candidate will work on a 3-year project funded by the Danish Heart Foundation, aiming to develop and test an intervention to increase Vigorous Intermittent Lifestyle Physical Activity (VILPA) in physically inactive women.

About the Project

The project is a collaborative effort between internationally leading researchers across 3 continents. The candidate will be responsible for managing the project, leading the development of the scientific part of the intervention, and analysing quantitative and qualitative data. They will also be the point of liaison between the research team and partner organisations, and lead or co-lead project dissemination activities.

Responsibilities

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with a PhD degree in physical activity and health, public health, health psychology, or related disciplines. The ideal candidate will have research experience related to digital interventions for health, physical activity promotion, and behaviour change, with excellent English written communication skills and experience with analysis of quantitative and qualitative data.
