Head of Accounting and Financial Leadership

About the Role:
AGC Biologics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Accounting and Controlling to join our Finance Department in Copenhagen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the Accounting and Controlling area, providing leadership and guidance to the team, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality financial information to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial transactions and processes, including month-end closing, AR/AP, revenue forecasting, and profitability.
- Prepare the company's financial statements, transfer pricing documentation, and tax returns.
- Manage internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support the implementation of our new ERP system and CRSD (ESG) framework.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide accurate financial information for decision-making.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in economics and/or finance, with at least 6 years of experience as a leader at a senior finance level.
- Excellent knowledge of financial processes, including month-end closing, reporting, AR/AP, and process improvements.
- Strong leadership skills, with a hands-on approach.
- Proactive and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent English is a requirement, and fluency in another Scandinavian language is preferred.
