Role Purpose:

The Underwriting Service Coordinator (USC) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the precise processing of new and renewal business, as well as endorsements, in alignment with established Chubb service standards. This position is essential in providing operational support to underwriting teams and fostering robust relationships with clients and brokers, serving as the primary contact for all service-related inquiries concerning their portfolio of accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a portfolio of accounts, executing account administration and implementation tasks while supporting underwriters with underwriting, regulatory, and compliance information.
  • Collaborate closely with local network representatives and underwriters to uphold agreed client service standards.
  • Ensure that Multinational Programs are prepared, maintained, and finalized in accordance with our Global Services Department standards.
  • Address inquiries from our international network regarding local market practices, available products, and regulatory/tax issues.
  • Draft and issue certificates, complex policies, invoices, and other pertinent documents as per Chubb guidelines.
  • Respond to broker inquiries and secure validation for locally issued policies as necessary.
  • Participate in client and broker meetings, supporting Chubb's business development initiatives and showcasing our global capabilities.
  • Assist with ongoing projects aimed at enhancing operations and service delivery.
  • Ensure that quality assurance and validation measures are executed, documented, and acted upon appropriately.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the insurance industry is preferred, with an advantage for those familiar with multinational/global services.
  • Fluency in Danish and English, both written and spoken; proficiency in other Nordic languages is a plus.
  • Strong command of MS Office tools and the ability to quickly adapt to relevant business intelligence tools and specialized software.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a structured approach and keen attention to detail.
  • A collaborative mindset with a strong service orientation.
