About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Renewable Energy Portfolio Manager to join our team. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for overseeing our portfolio of activities across Vestas R&D, ensuring we are on track to meet our strategic goals.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing complex portfolios in large global project organizations, with a strong analytical mindset and ability to make data-driven decisions. You will also be comfortable making decisions and setting direction when needed, while maintaining a positive mindset and focus on opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee budgets, schedules, and progress across all sub-portfolios to ensure we are on track to meet our strategic goals.
  • Facilitate overall portfolio governance, including rebalancing of sub-portfolios to secure the right balance between risk, timeline, budget, and resources.
  • Ensure clear and transparent communication regarding decisions and status of the portfolio within the portfolio community, among stakeholders, and to management.
  • Support sub-portfolio owners and managers with analysis of their portfolio performance.
  • Exemplify and promote portfolio management best practices, culture, and behavior across the organization.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience in managing complex portfolios in large global project organizations.
  • Project management experience in large global project organizations is desirable.
  • Formal training and certification (e.g., PfMP, PMP) is desirable.
