About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and driven Key Account Manager to further develop and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, serving as their primary point of contact within Global Blue. As Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for growing revenue through the understanding of clients' business objectives, challenges, and needs, and aligning Global Blue's solutions accordingly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand clients' business objectives and align Global Blue's solutions to meet their needs.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to ensure their satisfaction and drive account growth.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the services and solutions provided to key accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategies and initiatives aimed at maximizing revenue and market share.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
  • Drive revenue growth by upselling and cross-selling Global Blue's products and services to existing clients.
  • Develop account-specific business plans and strategies to achieve sales targets and increase client spend.
  • Serve as the escalation point for key clients, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of any issues or concerns.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence, including client feedback, competitor activities, and industry trends.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on account performance, revenue forecasts, and market insights for internal stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar client-facing role, preferably within the travel, retail, or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of global B2B sales cycles and account management principles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, generate insights, and drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders at different levels.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
