Maersk Air Charter offers customized air freight solutions that provide flexibility and control with chartering tailoring air freight solutions to specific customer needs. You will be accountable for overall profitability, client and colleague satisfaction, compliance, strategy execution, and team management.

Your responsibilities will include leading the global team, understanding and anticipating client air charter needs, delivering creative and effective solutions. You will also engage with airlines, GSAs, aircraft owners, and other third-party partners to optimize operations and cost efficiency.

To succeed in this role, you will need 10+ years of industry-specific experience in Air Charter, with a strong operational background. You must be capable of thriving under high pressure and tight deadlines, and able to work effectively within a matrix organization.

You will be responsible for developing and executing the Air Charter strategy, overseeing shipment execution, traffic rights, load planning, and other operational aspects to maintain high-quality standards globally. Continuously monitoring and enhancing Air Charter service performance is also key to success in this role.

  • Overall Profitability: Drive the overall profitability of the Air Charter business.
  • Client and Colleague Satisfaction: Maintain high levels of satisfaction among clients and colleagues.
  • Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with Maersk's legal and regulatory standards.
  • Strategy Execution: Develop and execute the Air Charter strategy.
  • Team Management: Oversee staffing and management of the global Air Charter team.
