Salary
The salary for the position will be according to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State. Negotiation for a salary supplement is possible.
Job Description
The Postdoc position in Urban Frontiers is a 3-year position that focuses on investigating how land is accessed, coded, and controlled in urban peripheries. Applicants will work within the theoretical framework of the programme, proposing a country and an urban research site for fieldwork.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- A PhD degree in anthropology, development studies, economics, geography, political science, sociology, or similar fields.
- Professional qualifications relevant to the research project.
- Relevant work experience with qualitative research methods.
- Familiarity with quantitative research methods.
- Curious and collaborative mind-set.
- A strong interest in dynamics of social change.
- Knowledge of the proposed country.
- Relevant language capabilities.
