About the Role

KMD is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Group Reporting function. As the Head of Group Reporting, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and transparency of our financial reporting, while also driving process improvements and optimizing our financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive group reporting strategy, aligned with KMD's business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead a team of financial reporting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality financial reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and IT, to ensure seamless integration of financial reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP, as well as other relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain efficient financial reporting processes, leveraging technology and best practices to optimize reporting and analysis.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on financial reporting matters, including accounting, auditing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify and mitigate financial reporting risks, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial statements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including external auditors, regulators, and senior management.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong background in financial reporting, with a deep understanding of IFRS and local GAAP. You will also need to have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of financial reporting professionals. Additionally, you will need to have a strong analytical mindset, with the ability to identify and mitigate financial reporting risks.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting, with a strong background in IFRS and local GAAP.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience leading a team of financial reporting professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate financial reporting risks.
