The role is therefore well suited to a senior Rewards profile who is keen to use their experience to truly leave a legacy in the organisation.

Key responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include to:

  • Define and lead the Rewards team as well as provide strategic direction to the development of pay, reward, mobility, and benefits strategies to ensure the adoption of best practice and alignment to strategic objectives
  • Build, and implement, a globally consistent Job Architecture model
  • Develop and maintain relevant policies and ensure compliance to regulation
  • Participate in and create Remuneration Committee meeting materials
  • Provide expert advice to the leadership and annual remuneration processes ensuring the processes are fair and equitable, and in line with the reward strategy
  • Ensure up-to-date market insights on qualitative and quantitative benchmarks

  • Own the Employee Share and Long Term Incentive Programme
  • Own the global STI approach, and work with Senior Leadership and regional HR to ensure equitable alignment thereof
  • Act as a key member of the global P&C Leadership team, driving engagement and progress in the function as a whole

Suggested candidate profile
Skills and experiences can be earned in many different ways, and we understand that the best fit for the role cannot be prescribed on paper. You are however likely to succeed in this position if you have:

  • Extensive knowledge of global compensation and benefits practices and trends.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively and in an inclusive manner with all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience from acting as an inspirational strategic advisor within compensation and benefits
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Program Management experience and enjoy interacting with multiple stakeholders across the organization
  • Experience leading a Rewards function in a listed company, ideally across the full value chain from Reward strategy ideation, through to implementation and embedding.
  • Very strong stakeholder management skills, focusing on collaboration across functions to work towards a common goal
  • A pragmatic approach to problem solving: At Ambu, our ambitions are high and priorities many, so your role will include ensuring consistent progress in a timely, yet manageable, manner
  • Experience working closely with an Analytics function considered highly preferable
