We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team at Coinify Aps.

About the Role

This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to delve into the ever-evolving landscape of legal and regulatory affairs in the fintech industry. Reporting to our Legal Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our regulatory strategy and ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities
  • Mastery of regulatory frameworks applicable to crypto companies
  • Monitoring regulatory developments in jurisdictions where we operate
  • Negotiating and amending contracts with a focus on non-commercial terms
  • Identifying potential business opportunities in new countries
  • Conducting legal risk assessments for current and future products and solutions
  • Reviewing and updating our website's terms and conditions, including the cookie policy
Requirements
  • Candidate must be currently enrolled in their 1st or 2nd year of a master's degree in Law (cand.jur or cand.merc.jur) or a related field
  • A keen interest in regulatory compliance and the fintech industry is essential
  • The ability to navigate complex legal landscapes across various jurisdictions is required
  • Knowledge of financial services industry regulations such as AML, FATF, OFAC, and sanctions is necessary
  • The candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment, remaining organized and adaptable
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills are crucial
  • A proactive and analytical mindset is required
  • The candidate must be eager to take ownership and drive positive change
